Wednesday: Our elected officials will be calling in from Richmond to update us on the general assembly. Thursday: Legendary Radio Disc Jockey “Cousin Brucie” Morrow will be taking calls from our listeners. Do you know he was the guy who introduced “The Beatles” with Ed Sullivan at Shea Stadium in 1964? He has a new book out called “Rock & Roll…and the beat goes on.” Harry James of James Financial Services (the best tax preparers in town, they do my taxes and can do yours too) with their weekly “Tax Tip” on countdown to D-Day April 15th. It includes a concert by Celtica, a six piece ensemble playing music from the Celtic lands and the “Cor Rue School of Irish Dance” doing those high kicking Irish things. There will also be a preconcert Scotch tastings so…red hair, bagpipes, scotch…what’s not to love. Blaine Taylor and Wendy Larry, ODU men’s and woman’s basketball coaches on the weekend’s CAA Tournaments. Next Week: Country Music Legend Randy Travis playing at the Sandler Center on March 26th. We will also be doing a live remote at a local “Irish Pub” on St. Patrick’s Day on March 17th. Celebrity “March Madness Pool” sponsored by PODS, always a BLAST, we’ll see if Gary Puckett and Scott Cash can defend their titles from the last two years or if Senator George Allen can finally take the trophy after coming in 2nd twice.
