  • Thursday: “COUSIN BRUCIE,” yes, unbelievable, the living radio legend has released a book of his more than 50 years behind the microphone “Rock and Roll…and the Beat Goes On.”  From “The King of Rock and Roll” to the “Queen of Soul” to Motown to the British Invasion, “Cousin Brucie” has covered them all.   Many people think he is more knowledgeable that even greats Dick Clark and Casey Kasem.

  • Friday: “Happy Hour Fridays” with The Jewish Mother.  A local restaurant that should be an historical landmark will be live in the studio as well as a local band playing the hits.  Also, Fran Harding will give us a update on the Joe Maniscalco benefit this Sunday at Knuckleheads in VA Beach.  Joe is a Hampton Roads musical legend that contacted lung cancer after playing the local bars for 40 years all from the second hand smoke.  He never smoked a day in his life.  That’s just bad business.

  • Tuesday:  Frank Stallone, yup, Rocky’s brother is starring in a new reality TV Show (honestly, who watches those things?)       Ron Villanueva, freshman Delegate finishing up his first week as a Virginia Legislator.

  • Friday: Artist and Restaurant showcase “Happy Hours.”  Kevin Powell from Burton’s Grill in VA Beach will be discussing the upcoming restaurant week January 17-24.  This year they are partnering with the Food Bank to replenish the empty shelves after the holidays.  “Flashback 5” will be live in the studio playing the hits from the 60’s and 70’s;  Matt Michalec, Sports Information Director for Norfolk State University www.nsu.edu/Athletics.
