  • Monday: “Medical Marijuana”…legalization…everybody’s talking about it.  From the Pro side, a rep. from NORML in California.  On the Con side, a rep. from “Partnership for a Drug Free America.”  And…Kamy Akahvan, Managing Editor of ProCon.org, kind of a no position/moderator group on the issue.  Should be good debate.  Also…a review on “The American Music Awards”…are you kidding me…who is “Lady GaGa”, more like “GagGag.”  The freaks come out at night!

  • Tuesday: Susan Elwell, VA Beach’s own and Author of “The Magic of Transformation” the first in a series of science-related books.   “A Christmas Carol” playing at the VA Stage Company December 4-24.  We hope to have both the Director and Ebenezer Scrooge on today.  www.VAStage.org   Also, Ray Gessner, the “Chimney Sweep” Guy with that catchy jingle “step in time, step in time,” live in the studio and my guest co-host.

  • Tuesday: Jeff McWaters, 8th District Senate Candidate in VA (yes, I know…another election).  He is facing off against VA Beach City Councilwoman Rosemary Wilson.  As a matter of clarity, Mrs. Wilson declined to come on the show with Mr. McWaters.  Why ??? call her and ask.  The “caucus-primary” is tentatively slated for Dec. 5.

  • Tuesday: Dr. Michael Beitler author of “Rational Individualism: A Moral for Limited Government and Capitalism” and Host of “Free Markets With Dr. Mike Beitler” an internet talk show on Voice-America.”  Thomas Degeest: Wafels & Dinges Introduces De Kompleet Wafel Kit.   This guy is amazing, he left his high paying job as an IBM consultant to start selling authentic Belgium Waffles out of a truck in NY.  He missed the waffles from his native Belgium.  Wow, this dude must really be into waffles.  He is really funny too and a great talker.

  • Wednesday: VETERANS DAY, in honor of all of our service men and woman, we will reflect on all 5 military branches,  America’s true HEROES.  Tune in to hear about the guy (he will hopefully be in the studio)… you aren’t going to believe this…he enlisted underage in the Army, when the army found out, they kicked him out, so he joined the Marine Corps and served during WWII…then when he got out of the Marines, he tried civilian life for awhile and hated it, so he joined the Navy, and then after a couple hitches, laterally transferred to the Air Force.  Unbelievable.  I think he'll have some great stories.  He said that the reason he didn't join the Coast Guard was “he ran out of time.”

  • But the big news is PAUL OVERSTREET is doing a 10 min interview.  I have been trying to get this guy to chat for over 10 years.  Seriously, this cat is harder to nail down then Nixon, and a heck of a lot more popular.  He won the song writer of  the year so many times, they changed the name of it to the Overstreet award.   How about these hits  “Forever and Ever Amen,” (ranked the #1 country song of all time)  “ Diggin’ up Bones,” “When you say nothing at all,” “She thinks my tractor’s sexy,” “On the other hand,” “I won’t take less than your love,” “Seeing my father In me,” “Richest Man on Earth,” (if you don’t know any of those….how about “Love Can Build a Bridge” that the Judd’s took to #1 for roughly 6 years).  Anyway, Paul Overstreet is on this week, the man, stay tuned.  Neptune Festival in a month and the Peanut Fest. after that.
