  • 1/23/08  Senator Frank Wagner: from the 7th District of Virginia updating us on the general assembly currently underway in Richmond, VA.  We will talk specifically about the controversial gun show "loophole" that allows people to buy guns at gun shows without a background check.
  • 1/23/08  Janis Ian: Grammy Award winning singer/song writer, muti-instrumental musician.  She scored her biggest hin in 1975 with "At Seventeen" which went to #1.  She performed that on the very first "Saturday Night Live TV" show October 1975.  Those of us my age remember this superb song about a young girl and dealing with "the valentines that never came, and whose names were never called, when choosing sides for basketball..."  She is performing this Saturday, January 26, 8 PM at the "Suffolk Center for the Cultural Arts." http://www.SuffolkCenter.org
